Our rotations based at both The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital Trust sites include the following specialty areas: Stroke (hyper acute and acute rehabilitation), Frailty at the front door (ED and AMU), Cardiology, Endocrinology, Care of the Elderly, Short stay, Respiratory, Orthopaedics and Surgery including amputees. Your supervisor will enable you to develop skills to work independently as well as alongside other therapy and MDT colleagues. We are also currently working with therapy partners within our integrated care system to offer cross-organisational band 5 rotational opportunities in neighbouring trusts who provide community therapy services, mental health services and specialist spinal and orthopaedic services to patients in our region. All new graduates joining us will be supported through the trusts preceptorship programme and all band 5s are allocated 10% of their contractual time to supporting professional activity (SPA).
