You will join the Data Management and Governance team within the Information Management, Improvement and Evidence Unit (IMIEU). You will be part of the Education Analytical Services (EAS) Division which provides a range of analytical, specialist and professional services to three Directorates in DG Learning and Justice. We work with Ministers, policy colleagues and other analysts across Government to advise on policy development, implementation and monitoring based on robust, relevant and up to date evidence and analysis. The Data Management and Governance team are responsible for a number of important tasks, such as managing a wide range of statistical data collections, ensuring the Education Analytical Services (EAS) Division is fully compliant with GDPR, managing Freedom of Information requests and data access requests for the Division. You will monitor email boxes, support accurate data input, ProcXed data collection system administration and communicating with various stakeholders. This is a Modern Apprenticeship opportunity, throughout the first 12 months the success candidate will be expected to gain a relevant SVQ qualification. Support will be provided by an internal assessor who will work with you on a monthly basis with time given to work on your qualification. Responsibilities Providing efficient, effective and proactive administrative support to a team. Developing and maintaining good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support business delivery. Record maintenance and data input on various digital platforms. Organising and preparing meetings and events, prioritising tasks and coordinating activity. If invited for further assessment, this will consist of an interview and presentation. Stage one (application sift): Candidates will have their applications assessed against all success profile criteria listed above unless there is a large number of applications, in which case, the following process will apply: An initial sift will be conducted using the CV and supporting statement on the Working Together behaviour as listed above. Candidates who pass the initial sift will have their applications fully assessed against the behaviours. Stage two (interview and presentation): If successful at application sift, you will be invited to an assessment and interview where we will test all criteria listed above. All the behaviours outlined in the Success Profile will be assessed at this stage. Assessments are scheduled for w/c 28/04/25, however this may be subject to change.
