JOB DESCRIPTION: SEN Tutor Location: South East England, Berkshire, Reading Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour Job Duties: Provide tailored support and guidance to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) Develop individualised learning plans based on students' needs Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to enhance students' understanding Monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure holistic support for students Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience working with students with SEN Understanding of different learning styles and ability to adapt teaching methods Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field Experience: At least 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in SEN Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of SEN policies and procedures Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Strong organisational and time management skills Preferred Qualifications: Additional training or certification in SEN education Experience using assistive technology to support students with SEN Working Conditions: The role of SEN Tutor involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis. The work is based in a classroom setting within an educational institution in South East England. The environment may require flexibility in working hours to accommodate students' needs.
