Job Title: Practice Manager - Wealth Management
Location: Liverpool
Salary: £30,000-£35,000 per annum, depending on experience
The purpose of this role is to provide a consistently high standard of support to our advisers, to ensure we are providing the most effective and efficient service to our clients. You will be involved in a wide range of operations to enhance our proposition. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to progress from an administrator role and excel in a career in finance with a clear pathway to an adviser.
Key Responsibilities of the Role:
1. Maintain client record management systems in line with practice procedure & record appropriately
2. Update the client record management system in line with the procedure & upload any supporting documentation
3. Supervise the Letter of Authority process in accordance with the advised process
4. Diarising, tracking and chasing of letter of authorities
5. Diarising, tracking and chasing of outstanding transfer funds
6. Analyse ceding scheme information in line with relevant checklists, with precise attention to detail
7. Create, monitor and maintain task management system
8. Completion of Suitability Letters for Annual reviews, new money and protection cases in line with the advised process
9. Have a clear understanding of the end-to-end processes of all admin functions, including Fund Switches, Withdrawals, amendments to plans etc through to confirmation and Fact Find updates.
10. Maintain accurate records of archiving and filing
11. All inbound post to be scanned & distributed upon receipt and actioned accordingly
12. Monitor & order stationery and literature, prior to depletion of stock
13. Competent in all areas of the PSS role
14. Create illustrations as required
15. Liaise with advisers to obtain a robust handover of a case, including a full CFR
16. Compliance check of meeting dates in line with all supporting documentation
17. Use all SJP resources/tools, in line with the advised process
18. Familiar with all major research systems (e.g. Analytics, Voyant, etc)
19. Creation and submission of advice sets for all cases
20. Ability to accurately transpose information
21. Ensure all client files are compliant
22. Stay abreast of financial legislation & ever-changing financial regulation
23. Apply high level organisational skills in prioritising and co-ordinating workload activities
24. General office support
25. Achieve the SJP accreditation
26. Exam support provided to achieve ‘Diploma’ status with CII RO1-6 in 18-24 months (or as ready)

Qualifications/Experience:
1. Experience of working in a financial services business is essential
2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills is essential
3. Experience of working in a supporting regulated advice role is desirable
4. SJP Experience is desirable
5. University degree is desirable but not essential
