As a Teacher of Government and Politics, you will have the opportunity to inspire students and foster their interest in politics, government, and civic engagement. Teach the National Curriculum for Politics, covering a range of topics including political ideologies, government structures, and current affairs. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment, promoting active participation and critical thinking. Collaborate with the Humanities department to develop curriculum materials and resources. Monitor and track student progress, maintaining accurate records and providing reports as required. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience in the UK qualification. Specialism in Government and Politics with a strong subject knowledge. Experience teaching at Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5, preferably in a secondary school setting. The ability to inspire students, fostering their interest in politics and current affairs. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to differentiate instruction to meet individual student needs. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
