The Property Maintenance and Carpentry trainer/assessor will be responsible for:
* Conduct regular progress reviews, providing feedback to learners and employers.
* Support learners in developing their portfolios and preparing for end-point assessments (EPA).
* Work closely with employers to identify suitable tasks and training opportunities.
* Ensure the tracking and documentation of learner progress meets quality assurance requirements.
* Deliver targeted training to support learner's wider life skills development.
* Promote the college's values and ensure compliance with awarding body practices.
The Property Maintenance and Carpentry trainer/assessor will need to have:
* A relevant level 3 vocational qualification.
* A Level 3 TAQA qualification or equivalent or be willing to work towards.
* Level 3 Internal Quality Assurance (desirable).
* Relevant carpentry or property maintenance qualification and industry experience.
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
* Passion for training and mentoring learners.
* Understanding of apprenticeship standards and end-point assessments.
