Join Our Customer Service Team at Tesco Bank
We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to join our Credit Cards team at Tesco Bank, part of Barclays Bank UK Plc. Your role involves handling customer inquiries via inbound calls, covering purchasing queries, complex questions about interest rates, and encouraging digital self-service options. You may also address and resolve customer complaints.

Key Responsibilities
1. Provide outstanding customer service using excellent listening and relationship-building skills.
2. Manage high call volumes efficiently while maintaining a positive customer experience.
3. Engage with customers across communication channels, primarily inbound calls, with occasional outbound calls.
4. Take full ownership of customer issues, guiding them from initial contact to resolution.
5. Handle and resolve queries using your judgment and relevant tools.
6. Understand customer circumstances to provide personalized solutions.
7. Document interactions, issues, and resolutions accurately within our systems.
8. Educate customers about our products and services; full training will be provided.
Requirements
* Customer service experience, ideally in a call centre, retail, hospitality, or other customer-facing roles.
* Strong communication and active listening skills, with empathy and resilience.
* Confidence with technology, including Microsoft Office and multiple systems.
* Commitment to our values: no one tries harder for customers, treating people with respect, and making a difference.
Preferred Skills
* Passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences and finding optimal outcomes.
* Experience in financial services or regulated environments.
* Ability to work effectively in a target-driven, fast-paced setting.
Work Environment
Initial on-site training, transitioning to a hybrid model with remote work options once fully competent. Attendance at key office events is required.
