Expected starting salary: £46,000 - £69,000

The Job:
The Workday Payroll and Absence Configuration Analyst will be responsible for the Workday configuration, maintenance and operations support of human capital management, payroll and absence, ensuring compliance with UK regulations. This role requires deep expertise in HCM, payroll and absence processes, as well as proficiency in Workday system configuration.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Configuration and optimisation of Workday human capital management, payroll and absence management.
2. Collaborate with Global Regional HR teams to gather requirements and design system solutions.
3. Analyse current HR and payroll processes to identify areas for improvement.
4. Review and test twice yearly Workday Feature Releases.
5. Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures.
6. Develop and execute test plans related to system configuration changes.
7. Troubleshoot and resolve system issues in a timely manner.
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
1. Proven experience configuring and optimising Workday HCM, UK payroll, and absence management modules.
2. Strong knowledge of UK payroll processes and absence management practices.
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
4. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
5. Excellent communication skills.
6. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
7. Ability to understand and explain the overall impact of a system or project.
