About the Role
As our first Finance Manager, you will establish robust financial structures to support our continued growth. Reporting directly to the senior leadership team, you'll manage the finances of five operating businesses and the group head office. This is a unique opportunity to build and lead financial processes in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Overseeing the financial operations of five operating businesses and the group head office.
* Implementing strong financial controls, systems, and processes to support scalability and efficiency.
* Preparing management accounts, budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
* Providing insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
* Managing cash flow and ensuring accurate, timely financial reporting.
* Liaising with external advisors, including accountants and auditors.
* Supporting the leadership team with ad hoc financial projects.
About You
We’re looking for a self-motivated and experienced Finance Manager who thrives in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment. You’ll need to be both strategic and hands-on, capable of driving improvements while managing day-to-day financial operations.
The ideal candidate will have:
* A professional finance qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent experience.
* Proven experience managing finances in a multi-entity business or SME environment.
* Strong technical accounting skills and the ability to implement financial systems and processes.
* A commercial mindset and excellent analytical skills.
* Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels.
* A proactive, solutions-focused approach and the ability to work independently.
