An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join our team on a temporary basis for 11 months as part of maternity leave cover. Clinical work will primarily be based between Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital and Fraserburgh Child Development Team, however, the post holder will be expected to be flexible and provide cover to services within Grampian if required.
All settings within Combined Child Health SLT have a well-established multi-disciplinary ethos. The post involves working with children with a range of complex communication, eating and drinking difficulties aged from 0-18 years.
Within the department of Speech and Language Therapy in Combined Child Health, we are committed to staff development through regular meetings, supervision and ongoing support and training. As RACH is a teaching hospital and has a wide range of specialist services (some covering the whole of the North of Scotland), we offer excellent opportunities for personal and professional development.
