About the role:
Description: To work to achieve level 5 in Health and Social Care, lead whilst on shift, respond to emergencies, and assist in the management of the care home to acquired skills level in the absence of management. To champion excellent practice and work with management and colleagues to raise the standard of care delivered in a care home for older people and older people living with dementia.
Main Place of Work: Ty Dewi Sant, Penarth
Pay Details: Grade 5, SCP 8 - 12 £25,992 to £27,711 pro rata
Hours of Work / Working Pattern: 35 hours
Hourly rate enhancements are paid for unsociable hours, weekends, and bank holidays (plus lieu day for bank holidays)

Saturday
•12am - 6am, Time & 1/2

About you:
You will need:
• Experience of providing person centred personal care, support with acts of daily living and emotional support to vulnerable adults
• Willingness to participate in training and work toward level 5 in Health and Social Care Management
• NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent and commitment to personal development
