The IS Administrator will carry out the daily administration tasks associated with the IS department including the managing the purchase of IT equipment. Working closely with the IS Technical Support in ensuring that scheduled tasks are completed correctly and on time. Key objectives in your role as IS Administrator include: Ordering of equipment for users of the system including new starters. Raising and managing the spend against CAPEX's for the purchase of IT equipment. Ensuring all requests for new equipment are logged on the IT Helpdesk software. Liaising with IS Technical Support to ensure new employees have equipment setup ready for starting employment with the business. Being responsible for ensuring the completion of IS Scheduled calls in a timely manner and escalate call to the IS Manager before any breach/failures. Ensuring stock & scheduled call spreadsheets are kept up to date. Ensuring all processes and procedures for Scheduled Calls are documented and kept up to date. Answering incoming calls to the IS department ensuring messages are recorded and passed onto the correct person. Working with the IS Technicians to prioritise and allocate calls on the helpdesk. Maintaining the asset register with newly delivered equipment. Compliance: Adhere to the Company's compliance obligations, policies, processes, and procedures. Report compliance concerns, issues, and failures. Participate in training as required. What do you need? You should: Have strong administrative skills with a keen eye for detail. Have strong communication skills both written and verbal. Be able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet strict deadlines. Be a proficient PC user who is competent in the full MS Office suite. Have excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to set objectives and prioritise workloads. What can we offer?
