As an Account Manager for UK North and Ireland, you will promote our food and animal feed diagnostic solutions in the rapid and reference testing segments. You will support and advise existing customers (end customers as well as distributors), acquire new customers, develop sales strategies, and implement contract negotiations with the aim of increasing sales.
Your key responsibilities
1. Advising and supporting customers using our diagnostic solutions (food, animal feed companies, laboratories, distributors)
2. Promoting Romer-Labs* products for the analysis of food allergens, mycotoxins, and pathogens
3. Actively representing Romer Labs in conferences and seminars
4. Acquiring new customers
5. Utilizing marketing and technical resources to increase market share
6. Cooperating with the logistic team to maximize service level

You bring
1. Several years of B2B sales experience (ideally in diagnostic segment)
2. Ideally life science education background e.g. chemistry, food engineering, biotechnology, biology, agriculture
3. Willingness to travel in the region (~50%)
4. Category B driving license
5. Fluent in English – verbal and written
6. Team player, strong interpersonal skills
7. Excellent communication skills
8. Ability to work across cultures and communicate effectively in both remote and face-to-face situations
9. Solution-oriented attitude, analytical mindset, innovative thinking and creativity, target-oriented, strong customer focus
10. Experienced in IT systems (e.g. Microsoft Office, SalesForce)
