About the Role
This role is a senior management post within the Council to provide strategic financial leadership and support to the DCS and DASS. You will also work closely with our health partners, with whom we pool money at scale for both Children’s Services and Adult Social Care.
About you
To be a success, you will not only be a qualified accountant but a natural collaborator with demonstrable success in managing large-scale public finances in a highly effective way. Reporting to the Deputy Chief Finance Officer, this role involves working closely with senior officers, members, and partners and will provide leadership for the Directorate finance teams as part of an effective financial management function.
