Management Accountant
Location: Ashington or Durham
Contract: Full time – Permanent.
Hours: Full Time – 37 per week.
Salary: £45,877 per annum (inclusive of April 2025 pay award).

About the role:
Joining our Regional and National award-winning finance team, the Management Accountant will support the Finance Reporting Team. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:
Timely and quality preparation of management information for the Group. This includes management accounts, budget variance analysis, budget profiling and reforecasting and financial regulatory returns.
Effective and efficient management of all of the Group’s accounting records in line with statutory obligations and current accounting requirements.
Provision of effective and efficient management information to the Group.
Ensuring excellent support services are delivered across all Group departments and external customers, including companies under the Group’s management.

About you:
You’ll need:
A recognised professional accounting qualification or suitable experience.
To be self driven and motivated to succeed.
Excellent skills relating to written and verbal communication, report writing, time management and problem solving.
To be able to act as a key member of the Reporting Team, demonstrating leadership, ownership, responsibility, accountability, influence and commitment.
A customer focused and objective orientated approach.
