About the Role - KS1 Class Teacher
This exciting KS1 Class Teacher role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative and nurturing environment. The successful candidate will take on full class teaching responsibilities, delivering engaging lessons that support children's learning, development, and wellbeing throughout the academic year.
As a KS1 Class Teacher, you will:
1. Lead a vibrant Key Stage 1 classroom
2. Deliver creative and inclusive lessons that meet the needs of all learners
3. Plan and assess in line with the national curriculum
4. Use your phonics expertise to support early reading and language development
5. Work closely with your year group partner and wider team to share ideas and best practice
6. Contribute to a warm, respectful, and community-driven school culture
What We're Looking For in a KS1 Class Teacher:
1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
2. Experience teaching within KS1 - ideally in a London setting
3. Strong knowledge of phonics and early literacy development
4. A nurturing, adaptable, and committed teaching approach
5. Excellent classroom management and interpersonal skills
6. A team player who thrives in a collaborative teaching environment
