We are looking for a skilled and commercially focused Financial Analyst to work directly with one of our clients. This exciting new role will be split in two ways which are outlined below:
1. 50% - Financial Analyst:
Support strategic decision-making and business case preparation;
Financial analytics to support options comparison/own vs lease/transaction financials/sensitivity analytics;
Knowledge and experience of Lease accounting (IFRS).
2. 50% - Financial Manager:
Collaborate with project stakeholders to develop accurate cost estimates for RE projects;
Establish and manage project budgets, ensuring alignment with client expectations and financial guidelines;
Work closely with the project team to create comprehensive financial plans (Budgets and Forecasts), considering all project phases and potential contingencies;
Manage PO requisition process;
Implement robust cost control measures to track project expenditures against the budget;
Identify potential cost overruns and implement corrective actions in collaboration with project teams;
Generate regular and ad-hoc financial reports, presenting key cost-related metrics to relevant stakeholders;
Stay updated on relevant financial regulations and ensure project financial practices comply with legal requirements;
Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the whole RE team within the client.
Qualifications:
* Prior experience within a Financial Analysis or Client Accounting role.
* Proven experience of delivering commercially focused reports.
* Ability to implement and amend processes to benefit the client.
* Proactive and client-focused approach.
* Highly organized, with a strong ability to work as part of a team.
* German speaking is a plus but not essential.
Additional Information:
* The role will be based outside of London, in either Manchester, Leeds, or Birmingham with the ability to travel to Lincoln 1 day per month!
