Closing date: 24 February 2025 at 12 noon
An opportunity has arisen for a talented and passionate Teacher of Spanish and French to join the Modern Foreign Languages Department at Haileybury.
At Haileybury, Spanish is taught from Lower School 2 (Year 8) through to Upper Sixth, with the Sixth Form curriculum offering both A Level and International Baccalaureate (IB) qualifications.
French is a well-established branch of the Modern Languages curriculum. A consistently high number of pupils select it at IGCSE, a significant proportion of whom continue their studies of this language in the Sixth Form.
The successful applicant will be educated to a degree level in a relevant subject and will have experience of teaching at GCSE and A Level; IB teaching is desirable but not essential. An ability to teach Spanish and French to GCSE level would also be advantageous but not essential.
