They are members of all of the key procurement Frameworks from which they secure a significant proportion of their turnover and also have good historical relationships with private sector clients meaning they are able to negotiate rather than use single stage tendering to secure work.

The Role:
They are now keen to recruit a Senior Design Manager to join their Regional Design team due to an excellent pipeline of projects due to start on site in 2025
Generally, you will be tasked with controlling design activity through the pre-construction and delivery phases of projects
You will provide advice on design risk to the commercial, planning, operations and client teams.
You will produce, agree and manage realistic design programs.
You will ensure the delivery team are working to the correct specifications.
You:
To be successful in this role you will need to have worked for a similar Tier 1 or 2 building contractor, working as a Design Manager and have worked on medium to large value building projects (£15-20 Million+) who has a really good knowledge of the market and supply chain in the North West of England.
You will be based in or be able to commute to Manchester daily.
Commercially aware with an understanding of value engineering.
Excellent IT skills.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
