JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
The Business School at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) invites applications for a full-time, teaching-track Assistant Professor position in Information Systems and Technologies (IST), starting August 15, 2025 (with the possibility of a January 2025 start).
The ideal candidate will hold a PhD in Information Systems or a closely related field, with research interests in areas such as information security, project management, and/or business analytics with applications in organizations. The successful applicant will be expected to teach both undergraduate and graduate courses, specifically courses in Information Security Management, Innovating with Information Systems, Project Management, and potentially Data Management.
The position includes expectations for research leading to publications in high-quality, refereed journals, and WPI provides strong support for research and teaching. Service to the department, university, and professional community is also expected, including participation in committees and advising projects.
