Requirements for the Quantity Surveyor Position:
* Background in consultancy
* Strong experience as a Quantity Surveyor
* MRICS status preferred but not mandatory
* Proven experience in leading client meetings and stakeholder management
* Familiarity with various contract types
* Ability to work autonomously and within a team
* Self-motivated with a strong drive for career development
* Excellent communication skills, particularly at a technical level with clients and design teams
* Strong capability to meet targets and deadlines
* Experience in negotiating with contractors

Key Responsibilities:
* Preparing budget estimates and cost plans
* Creating bills of quantities
* Developing tender documents
* Conducting tender evaluations and reports
* Managing interim valuations
* Compiling cost reports and final accounts, including evaluation of contractor claims
* Ensuring effective variation control
* Reporting directly to clients, including presentations
