As a Tooling and Equipment Controller, your key responsibilities will include:
1. Oversee calibrated tools and equipment, ensuring control and accountability
2. Monitor and coordinate timely maintenance and calibration per regulations
3. Liaise with external providers to resolve calibration issues
4. Inspect tools after calibration for damage before reintroducing them
5. Maintain accurate records for traceability and compliance
6. Support audits with necessary documentation
7. Ensure maintenance teams have serviceable tools available
The ideal Candidate should meet the following requirements:
8. Educated to at least GCSE requirement
9. Ideally have an aviation background within an EASA Part 145 environment
10. Previous experience of handling calibrated tooling in a highly regulated environment would be preferable
11. Good computer skills, ideally having previous experience with MRP systems (SAP) and competent with Microsoft packages
12. Team player
13. Good communication and problem solving skills
14. Ability to work and determine priorities using own initiative
15. Flexible in work approach
16. The candidate will be required to work a day shift
