Leading firmware development, testing, and simulation to drive system performance. Developing and refining robust verification processes to ensure reliability. Producing key project documentation, including design specs, test plans, and interface definitions. Identifying and resolving technical challenges related to certification, qualification, and safety. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution. Supporting planning, estimations, and design changes at various project stages. Coaching and mentoring junior engineers, with the potential to take on lead roles such as Project Engineering Lead or Work Package Manager. Requirements: Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering Extensive firmware development experience across the full project lifecycle. Strong background in designing complex electronic systems. Skilled in cross-functional collaboration (systems, mechanical, software, project management). Proven track record of delivering high quality solutions on time and within budget. Expertise in analogue/digital design, EMC compliance, signal integrity, and electrical safety. Proficient in industry-standard firmware, PCB layout, and schematic design tools. Experience with prototyping, testing, and verification of electronic subsystems. Familiarity with requirements management and configuration tools (DOORS, ERP).
