On 1 April 2019, Cwm Taf University Health Board changed its name to Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board as it took responsibility for providing healthcare services for the people in the Bridgend County Borough area. Cwm Taf Morgannwg UHB now provides primary, community, hospital, and mental health services to the 450,000 people living in three County Boroughs: Bridgend, Merthyr Tydfil, and Rhondda Cynon Taf.

We have a number of exciting opportunities for enthusiastic, passionate, and committed pharmacists to support our pharmacy services across CTMUHB.
In these stimulating roles, you will work closely with, and be supported by, highly skilled and experienced pharmacy teams. Roles will follow a rotational programme across the CTMUHB footprint to build your clinical knowledge and experience different specialties. Successful candidates will be based at one site to contribute to on-call rotas.
All posts come with formal development opportunities which may include the HEIW Post registration Foundation qualification or a distance learning diploma. Preferences can be discussed at interview.
We welcome applications from newly qualified pharmacists registering in Aug 2025 or experienced pharmacists ready for a new challenge.
Key Responsibilities
* The post holder will provide a safe and effective clinical pharmacy and ward-based medicines management service to clinical area(s) and advise medical staff and nurses on pharmacy matters.
* Rotations are health board wide and could include, medicine, admissions, surgery, trauma & orthopaedics, frailty, palliative care, primary care, and prison services.
* The post holder must comply with current legislation and UHB policies. The recommendations contained within the Code of Ethics as issued by the General Pharmaceutical Council and the obligations in the Standards of Good Professional Practice will be upheld at all times.
* The post holder will be expected to undertake post-graduation development as identified by service and post holder needs. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications
* Vocational Master's Degree in Pharmacy
* Registered with GPhC
* Evidence of CPD
Experience
* 1 year Trainee Pharmacist Program completion
* Experience of Audit/Project work
