HR Generalist
Location: Watford
Salary: Up to £45,000 + Discretionary Bonuses + Private Health care + Pension Contribution + Many more
The role:
This role will encompass all aspects of the HR function, from recruiting and onboarding to assisting on HR projects and supporting on different L&D activities. This is a fantastic opportunity for a team player with a strong interest in HR, paired with a working knowledge of HR processes and experience of supporting the HR team within a professional services environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Report to the Senior HR Manager, providing advice on policies, employment terms, and legislation.
2. Handle HR queries and matters, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
3. Manage recruitment, interviewing, and new employee inductions.
4. Inform employees of rights and entitlements and update them on changes.
5. Maintain knowledge of employment law and case law practices.
6. Manage employee relations, performance management, and disciplinary/grievance issues.
7. Report on HR metrics and update policies and procedures.
8. Submit monthly reports and participate in HR projects.
9. Assist in daily HR functions, including auditing and reporting.
10. Update and manage HR databases and ensure compliance with new legislation.
11. Collaborate with hiring managers.
