What you will do:
1. Lead a large team to meet agreed Service Level Agreements.
2. Motivate and nurture your team and their capabilities.
3. Understand performance drivers and patterns.
4. Empower customers and colleagues with fraud prevention advice on an ongoing basis.
5. Co-ordinate root cause analysis of all fraud cases to understand trends.
6. Review and improve internal bank wide processes that will help improve efficiencies.
7. Provide detailed support/input into bank wide projects, representing Fraud Operations acting as fraud Subject Matter Expert (SME).
8. Horizon scan across the bank to anticipate challenges and make changes before they happen.
9. Industry engagement to build up a wider knowledge of current threat vectors.
10. Provide support to external agencies (CDA/law enforcement etc.) acting as the Metro Bank SME.

What you will need:
1. Been a Fraud Manager/Team Leader who has worked in different areas of fraud (First Party, Scams, Prima Facie, Remote Channels, etc.) in a financial service industry.
2. A track record in a financial crime role in a financial institution and/or as a recognised industry expert.
3. Previous experience working in a financial crime environment is desirable.
