Job Title: Engineering Manager Materials Technology - (Metallurgy)

What you'll be doing:
* You will be responsible for the management of a highly specialised team with metallurgists, non-metallics and welding engineers.
* Ensure that the technical mentoring within the department is to standards.
* Work with multiple stakeholders including Rolls Royce, departmental managers, and the Ministry Of Defence.
* You will be responsible for the Materials, Corrosion and Welding authorities.
* Input into Defence Standards.
* The role will give you the opportunity to manage the peer review of work leaving the department.
Your skills and experiences:
* To possess a degree in Metallurgy, Materials Science/Materials Engineering or Welding.
* Experience of research and development projects and/or project management.
* You'll have a good understanding of UKAS laboratory environments.
* Hold a Chartership or evidence of working towards it.
