Customer Demand & Supply Manager 12 months Fixed Term Working with one of the UK’s leading retailer, you will have a dedicated role of managing this customers demand and supply chain. You will take the lead role of transforming the customers forecast from a sales into a plan for ordering materials, production and logistics, from order to shipment and up to the final recipient. You will have the opportunity to develop great relationships with the Customer, Stakeholders and the Supply Chain team to develop and deliver the strategy for Decorative here at Crown Paints. Key Responsibilities Project management for potential customer portfolio changes. Monitor the delivered on time in full, stock availability service level measures, defined stock reaches, forecast accuracy and customer complaints in line with customer contracts. Analysis – Creation and development of special analysis to improve and develop the supply chain planning process, stock reaches and service level. Support and co-ordinate operational claims & returns in order to ensure timely treatment of customer claims. Communication with the customer about the claims and avert them if possible. Find processes and measures to reduce the penalties. Communication – Deliver the agreed communication plan (e.g. Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly/Yearly Supply Chain Briefings) as well as the Weekly Reach Reports and Forecast Accuracy Behavioural Competencies Ability to work collaboratively and successfully influence stakeholders. Ability to effect change throughout an organization by leading through others. Strong in communication and interpersonal skills Self-starter working across cross-functional lines with little need for directions with ability to act as spokesperson and adviser Experience Proven experience in Supply Chain and Planning environment Experienced in the MS-office suite SAP Knowledge would be ideal Forecasting experience would be ideal
