We are seeking a Senior Estates Management Surveyor to join our team. You will be self-motivated, with extensive experience in handling the diverse challenges of the property industry. You will possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to build strong rapport with tenants and other professionals. As a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, you will have considerable post-qualification experience in commercial property, particularly in rent reviews and lease renewals. A solid understanding of valuation methods and techniques, along with the relevant estate management laws, is also essential.

About the team...
You’ll join a small and supportive team providing a professional valuation and estates service to the Council including:
1. management of a diverse portfolio of over 200 commercial properties
2. management of the councils corporate and operational estate
As well as time working either in the office or from home, you will be out in the community meeting tenants and inspecting our properties.
Key responsibilities
1. You will carry out commercial property valuation and management, including new lettings, rent reviews, marketing, lease renewals, assignments, debt management, service charge management, repairs, dilapidations etc.
2. Acquisitions and disposals of land and buildings.
3. You will provide strategic advice to other departments on property issues.
