GP Primary Choice Ltd is looking for a lung cancer screening project manager to join their team on a full-time basis, to work at our head office in Colchester or at our clinic in Clacton. Working on a 2 year fixed-term contract, the project manager will take a lead role in delivering projects linked to the prevention of lung cancer for the citizens of Suffolk and north Essex, in the age range of 54 to 74 who are smokers or have ever smoked. Duties will include; Provide an active role in supporting the senior responsible officer (SRO) with providing regular reporting and project updates to the alliance partners and project sponsors/commissioners. Project manage the delivery of assigned projects. Build relationships with primary care and Suffolk and north east Essex health and wellbeing alliance partners, to support effective and constructive engagement in the design and delivery of services. Support, manage and coordinate projects to achieve their outcomes. Co-ordinate meetings and management of relevant documentation. Facilitate project meetings. Undertake research in agreed areas to enable workstreams and programme boards to make informed decisions. Support the delivery of GPPC objectives by contributing information and recommendations to both operational and strategic plans. Develop, refine, maintain, monitor, and manage relevant project plans ensuring progress is traced and reported in line with agreed methodology. Analyse and present data to assist in the general decision-making process. Produce monthly highlight reports to show progress on the programmes and projects. Please see job description for additional information. About the Candidate All applicants should have the following qualifications and registrations: Degree or equivalent experience. Evidence of relevant project management CPD. A proven background in project management. Track record of successful project management and having the ability to work on and deliver multiple projects. Analytical capabilities with experience of gathering and utilising data to establish and make informed recommendations. Proven ability to manage day to day operations including a basic understanding of finance related issues. Excellent process mapping, communication, and interpersonal skills along with exceptional time management. Full knowledge and use of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Experience of working within primary or secondary care an advantage. Able to drive and make use of your own car as you will be travelling to various sites.
