Day to day responsibilities…
Accounts Payable and Receivable:
Process and reconcile purchase and sales invoices.
Process and reconcile receipts and payments.
Assist with queries and resolutions of aged balance accounts.
Payroll:
Process weekly and monthly payroll inc. statutory submissions
VAT:
Process, reconcile and submit quarterly VAT returns
Financial Reporting:
Month-end and Year-end close processes to Trial Balance inc. Accruals and Prepayments
Working collaboratively with CFO and Group Finance to deadlines
Data Entry and Record Keeping:
Enter financial data into accounting software accurately.
Maintain organised and updated financial records.
Perform regular reconciliations of bank account.
Investigate and resolve discrepancies.
Administrative Support:
Provide general administrative support to the CFO.
Compliance and Auditing:
Conduct regular internal audits: pricing, stock and accounting entries.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
Assist with internal and external audits.
Communication:
Liaise with vendors, customers, and other departments to resolve financial issues.
Provide support and information to team members and management as needed.
Maintain alignment with the Group Finance team agenda
