As Estates and Facilities Manager, you will be joining a supportive and forward-thinking team that is committed to delivering high standards of safety and operational efficiency across our campuses. In this role, you will assist the Head of Estates in overseeing the maintenance and operations across all college sites, ensuring they remain safe, welcoming, and efficient for staff, students, and visitors. You will also be responsible for managing planned works, refurbishments, and improvements to enhance the college’s environment.
You will ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, maintain high standards of safety and service, and contribute to the seamless delivery of facilities management.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist in managing the day-to-day maintenance and operations of all college sites.
2. Lead and coordinate planned works, refurbishments, and ongoing improvements.
3. Ensure all facilities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
4. Manage external contractors to ensure high-quality service delivery.
5. Oversee the implementation of health and safety protocols and risk management strategies.
6. Collaborate with the Head of Estates to develop and manage long-term estates planning.
