This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of the day-to-day facilities management across a high-quality residential portfolio, ensuring an exceptional living experience for residents. The Facilities Manager will be responsible for maintaining building services, managing contractors, ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations, and driving operational efficiencies. This is a key role that requires a proactive, hands-on approach to maintaining high standards across the development. Responsibilities As Facilities Manager, you will: Oversee the maintenance, repairs, and compliance of all building services, ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment. Manage planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules and oversee reactive maintenance, ensuring minimal disruption to residents. Ensure full compliance with health & safety regulations, fire safety, and statutory obligations, maintaining accurate records. Lead contractor and supplier management, ensuring service levels are met and value for money is achieved. Conduct regular site inspections, identifying and resolving any maintenance issues proactively. Work closely with the resident services, property management, and leasing teams to ensure a seamless and high-quality resident experience. Assist with budget management and cost control, ensuring facilities operations remain efficient and within budget. Support sustainability initiatives, helping to improve energy efficiency and environmental performance within the development. Manage and mentor on-site facilities teams, ensuring a high standard of service delivery. Skills and Qualifications The ideal candidate will have: Proven experience in facilities management within the Build to Rent, PRS, or luxury residential sectors. Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance best practices, and compliance regulations. A recognised health & safety qualification (e.g., IOSH, NEBOSH) would be highly desirable. Experience in contractor and supplier management, ensuring high-quality service delivery. Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach. Strong leadership and communication abilities, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders. A proactive, resident-focused mindset, committed to delivering an outstanding experience. Familiarity with property or facilities management software would be beneficial
