Ardingly College is seeking to appoint a Football graduate to support the Games department from September 2024 for a fixed term of 12 months. The role will involve coaching sport and promoting the general progress and well-being of individual pupils. The successful candidate will be required to take part in the Prep & Senior School games programme throughout the whole week and support the Director of Sport & Head of Football with organising and preparing for fixtures on Fridays, alongside attending Saturday fixtures. Candidates should have a high level of experience in playing and coaching Football. The candidate should be self-motivated, have the ability to work well in a busy team environment and be able to communicate effectively with pupils and staff. Sports Graduates report to their respective Heads of Sport for the fulfilment of duties. The Football graduate will report to the Head of Football. Contract: This role is offered on a fixed term contract from September 2025 until 31st August 2026. Hours of Work: 40 hours per week, for 35 weeks per year (during term-time only, plus one additional week to assist with pre-season training). The actual times of work are subject to flexibility and will be agreed directly with the Director of Sport. Rate of Pay: £19,248 per annum inclusive of paid holiday
