Australia's largest public museum organisation is seeking a Retail Stock Coordinator at Museums Victoria.

ABOUT THE POSITION :
The position is accountable for all areas of stock management. This includes checking and allocating stock into the location in a timely and organised manner, assisting with replenishment of stock on the shop floors, and creating reports to assist in this process. The position is also responsible for keeping all stock areas organised and safe to allow for easy access to products and liaising with the MV loading dock to coordinate timely stock movement to the storeroom.
Some of the key duties include :
1. Unpack, price, locate and check stock against invoices.
2. Run daily replenishment reports and collate products for the floor team to display.
3. Utilise retail management systems sales reports, insight and data sheets as directed by the retail management team.
4. Liaise with the MV Retail Administration Assistant on the timing and scheduling of deliveries.
5. Liaise with suppliers on delivery schedules and stock supply.
6. Action markdowns and price updates in consultation with the Retail Product Managers and Retail Administration Assistant.
The successful applicant will have :
1. Demonstrated ability to operate a computer point of sale system, inventory management systems, and e-commerce platforms.
2. Demonstrated track record of strong organisational skills.
3. An ability to prioritise tasks, and workload to manage competing deadlines.
4. Demonstrated ability to handle inventory with due care and diligence for the mitigation of damaged stocks.
5. An ability to maintain confidentiality, communicate succinctly, and represent the organisational values effectively and consistently.
6. Demonstrated and well-developed communication skills, both written and oral.
