Your role: Feel Good Suffolk is an exciting partnership across Suffolk with the aim of empowering clients to take control of their health and wellbeing with health improvement changes such as weight loss, eating well, increasing physical activity levels, and stopping smoking. You will be required to triage and undertake a ‘what matters to you’ client-centred assessment, build individualised support packages, refer clients to appropriate services and support, and deliver 1 to 1 and group health-based interventions. You will support and empower the client to use their skills and networks to overcome barriers and make positive changes to improve their health and wellbeing. The candidate will be organised and able to work under pressure to tight timescales over a period of time and be a strong communicator with proven active listening skills. Previous experience of delivering Stop Smoking interventions will be advantageous for the Smoking Cessation role, but not essential.
