Our Client is urgently seeking to appoint a Site Manager out of their York Office. With a variety of clients in the affordable housing, retail, education, commercial, industrial and health sectors. They are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to join their existing team. The ideal candidate must be commercially minded and capable of managing large-scale, multi-million pound construction contracts from start to finish. You must also have excellent communication and negotiation skills, be highly organised and possess the ability to develop strong relationships with colleagues, subcontractors and clients. The role is full-time and salary will be commensurate with experience, skill level and qualifications and benefits include company car, Group Personal Pension, profit related pay, employee share scheme and opportunities for further training, development and progression. Planning and programming all site activities. Coordinating labour. Working closer with contract teams. Ensuring work is completed on time, within budget. Maintenance of company required Health & Safety Procedures. Adhering to the company Quality Standards including management of defects, compliance with specification, compliance with materials, workmanship schedules, subcontractor code of conduct and considerate constructor scheme. Coordination and leadership of the site teams. Management of site facilities: welfare, toilets, offices and compound area etc. Preparation / assistance with site progress reports. Safe storage and coordination of materials. Be responsible for the accurate and timely completion of site based documentation. Attendance at projets and company related meetings. In order to be considered for this position you must also have have: Previous Site Management experience. Good communications skills. SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid. Full Driving License.
