Requirements:
1. Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance - City & Guilds, IMI, NVQ or equivalent;
2. Full driving licence;
3. Positive, customer-centric attitude;
4. Willingness to learn;
5. Methodical approach to problem-solving.
The Role:
1. Responsible for prep work on a wide range of makes and models, ensuring all maintenance work is completed to a high standard;
2. Carrying out Used Car Checks and preparation work;
3. Testing and checking mechanical and technological components;
4. Undertaking repair and servicing as required;
5. Liaising with other departments, such as Parts and Service, to ensure the repair work is completed within the agreed timescales;
6. Conducting final checks of vehicles and signing-off before they are returned to the customer.
