Legal Secretary
Pertemps are currently recruiting for a Legal Secretary to join a leading Law firm based in Andover working within their Conveyancing department. This is a full-time, permanent position.
Legal Secretary Responsibilities:
- Dealing with basic enquiries including deeds request
- Scanning and digitally filling incoming post
- Procuring title documents from the Land Registry
- Applying for searches
- Preparing contract packages
- Obtaining and uploading information on mortgage platforms
- Stamp duty land tax form preparation, submission and payment of tax to HMRC
- Meeting clients
Legal Secretary Requirements:
- Previous legal experience
- Previous knowledge of residential conveyancing is essential
- Strong administrative experience
- Highly organised
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ambitious, enthusiastic and a team player
The Legal Secretary role
- Negotiable salary depending on experience
- Monday to Friday
