Brio Digital are supporting a Financial Services Organisation who are seeking a dynamic and experienced SOC Manager to lead their Security Operations Center (SOC). In this role, you will oversee day-to-day operations, manage a team of skilled analysts, and drive our incident response and threat intelligence efforts. You’ll be responsible for enhancing our security posture, ensuring compliance, and maintaining robust processes to protect our critical assets.
Responsibilities:
* Manage and mentor a team of SOC analysts and engineers.
* Develop and implement strategies for effective threat detection, response, and mitigation.
* Oversee incident response procedures, ensuring timely and effective handling.
* Collaborate with IT, security teams, and leadership to improve security practices and reporting.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience managing a SOC or similar security team.
* Strong understanding of SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and incident response.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) preferred.
