As a PCV Engineer / Mechanic, your role will involve carrying out planned and preventative maintenance along with diagnostic fault finding and reactive repairs to a fleet of commercially operated buses, to the high standards of Arriva and the DVSA. You’ll play a vital part in a close-knit experienced team, and together you'll keep our buses running at their very best.

This role is on a rotating shift basis, starting from 5.00am / 8.30am / 2.00pm and offering an hourly rate of £22.00.
About you
We’re looking for previous experience of diagnosis, repair and maintenance of both mechanical and electrical faults on PSV / HGV fleet. With vehicles from a host of manufacturers, ranging from Volvo, ADL, Wrightbus, Scania and more, you will be comfortable in a range of manufacturer specific systems. A minimum of a NVQ Level 3 in PSV / HGV repair & maintenance (or equivalent) is required. You will need to hold a driving licence, with 6 points or less, and a PSV licence is preferred, but training will be provided if required.
This position offers £22.00 per hour plus overtime available at an enhanced rate, with overtime at time plus ½ for all additional hours worked over the working week.
Full-time, permanent contract with 25 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays.
