We've got an opportunity for a Visitor Operations and Experience Manager to join our Property Leadership Team at Belton Estate. You'll have the chance to develop an outstanding visitor offer and diversify audiences in one of the most high-profile portfolios of Europe's largest conservation charity, looking after nature, beauty and history for everyone to enjoy. What it's like to work here Working with key partners, you'll open up Belton's history, stories and natural beauty for visitors to enjoy, delivering high quality experiences appealing to diverse audiences. You'll design, deliver and promote our products and programming, championing accessibility and advocating our 'Everyone Welcome' values. As one of the senior leadership team you'll take part in duty management, deputising for the General Manager (including occasional weekends and some evenings during seasonal activities such as the Winter light trail) as well as running the visitor operation and setting our strategic direction. The portfolio includes Grantham House which is being developed as a community hub which will open to the public early in 2025, providing a great opportunity to showcase and develop our community work, partnership ambitions and our everyone welcome strategic aims. The job can be demanding, but it's a beautiful place to work and we love to share Belton with our visitors. As one of the top ten busiest properties within the Trust we're open 364 days per year., Reporting to the General Manager, you'll be a member of the leadership team overseeing day-to-day visitor operations, ensuring excellent everyday delivery. You'll have budgetary control, whilst looking for ways to maximise income generation, from admissions, events and membership to be re-invested at Belton and its portfolio.

* proven abilities in leading an operation (including rotas, budgets and planning across a complex site)
* a collaborative leadership style, taking time to support your team and everyone across the portfolio
* experience of developing and delivering programmes of events and exhibitions supported by effective marketing campaigns
