Job summary Working as part of a team to provide and maintain a clean, welcoming and tidy environment for students, staff, visitors and the general public to both our college site based in Harrogate and the Arts and Crafts Centre in Knaresborough. We envisage a total of 40 hours per week split between the College (08.00 - 13.00) and the Arts and Crafts Centre (15.30 - 18.30). While we see this as one role, we would consider job-sharing for the right applicants. The Arts and Crafts Centre hold various events throughout the year on evenings and weekends, so additional hours may be available on an ad-hoc basis. This may involve unpleasant odours / dealing with clinical waste and soiled linen on a daily basis. To report any concerns or issues regarding pest control using agreed procedure. To assist with the movement of materials and equipment. To participate in environmental audits and internal monitoring. To accept / reject delivery of materials and equipment. To carry out washing, drying, ironing and folding of laundry when required.
