My client is a window and door manufacturer and they are looking for a Warehouse Operative on a permanent basis:
40 hours per week
Must live within 1 hour of HP18 0XB
Must have a valid UK manual driving license
Duties:
• Unloading, Inspection, verification and sign off of all goods delivered from suppliers
• Movement and allocation of stock in and out of the factory
• Efficient disposal of waste from production warehouse & yard areas to recycling points
• Minimising and recycling waste
• Organising windows and doors for base teams, checking UPVC Windows to purchase order
• Deliver materials to site
• Ensuring efficient and safe operations across sites, adhering to all health and safety standards
• Checking stock levels monthly and as necessary
• Booking materials in/out of Inventory Management System as and when required
• Picking materials for field operative staff
• Locking & unlocking site build as and when required
• Material shortages to be reported immediately when identified
• Assist with the labelling, palletisation, and overall storage of all stock
• Liaise with supervisor/manager to create and update Standard Operating Procedures for the department
Requirements:
• Experience in working in a similar role
• Experience of using Inventory Management Systems e.g. SAP, Evonet
• Full driving licence and own vehicle
• Physical fitness - ability to work in a factory environment with both inside and outside working conditions and manual handling of materials
• Enthusiastic team player, with a can-do attitude
• Weekend work maybe required for monthly stock take and to support peaks in workload
• Counter Balance forklift license
Desired Skills:
• Qualifications in a similar role
• Knowledge of health and safety in factory, warehouse, and yard environments
• Counterbalance forklift license
