The role of the Trainee Service Advisor is to:
Gain an understanding and knowledge of all aspects of the vehicle service department, throughout a period of introduction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. To handle customer enquiries and queries promptly and efficiently.
2. Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
3. Qualify service and customer requirements to aid diagnosing of vehicle problems where appropriate. Establish understanding and an agreement with the customer of the work to be carried out.
4. Accurately maintain the service department loading system in line with workshop capacity.
5. Manage the handover and administration of loan vehicles.
6. Explain the work carried out on vehicle ensuring customers full authorisation and understanding.
7. Understand and adhere to manufacturer service requirements.
8. Maintain safe working practices and abide by the working rules and standards of the business.
Skills & Requirements
1. Energy and enthusiasm.
2. Competency in numeracy, literacy and IT.
3. Understanding of basic vehicle design, function and location of parts.
