An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Advanced Practice Physiotherapist position within Cardiac Rehabilitation at Raigmore Hospital, based in the Heartbeat Centre.
We are seeking an experienced Physiotherapist or a Physiotherapist interested in a development opportunity to enhance their skills in Cardiac Rehab. This role is a vital part of our multidisciplinary team, working closely with the Advanced Nurse Specialist, Senior Health Care Support Worker, administrative staff, and wider community-integrated teams.
The role involves a high level of decision-making and clinical judgment, ensuring that health needs are met through the diagnosis and management of complex cardiac patients. This care is delivered through assessment, treatment, and ongoing review in partnership with patients and their families. The post holder will contribute to the organisation, development, and delivery of Cardiac Rehabilitation exercise care and classes, alongside our highly experienced Health Care Support Worker. Additionally, the post holder will provide specialist advice on Cardiac Rehab to other healthcare professionals and a network of remote physiotherapists.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate motivation, ability, and enthusiasm for delivering a high-quality service. Full support in developing your skills will be provided by the consultant cardiologist, Cardiac Nurse Specialist, and the wider Cardiac Rehab team.
This is a permanent 18.6 hours per week post, worked in accordance with service requirements.
