This Paint Process Engineer role will be joining a specialist department for a very well renowned automotive brand, looking at bespoke and custom pallet colours that can be challenging to deliver for their customers.
Paint Process Engineer Duties and Responsibilities:
* Support PDL responses identifying any costs required for the launch of a vehicle
* Support the transition to of the paint facility from one site to another,
* Responsible for coaching and developing team members to ensure they are able to do their job effectively delivering objectives and targets in line with scorecard metrics
* Lead the planning/implementation for all commissioning for MY and LE colours
* Support resource planning for the paint department
* Attend and represent Paint at programme meetings at all levels and present where applicable.
* Manage the design, procurement and installation of all tooling, jigs and fixtures for manufacturing including supplier selection and vendor management.
* Manage Paint technical issues and escalate where appropriate.
* Support Paint capacity planning.
* Ensuring of Health & Safety including CDM control and implementation

* Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing related environment
