What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for an organised and detail orientated individual to join the team at South Hunsley School and Sixth Form as an Administration Assistant who will play a key role inproviding comprehensive and effective administrative and customer service support.
The working hours are 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday during the school term. You will also be paid for an additional 12 days per year, which enables you to attend team meetings and training and development that sits outside your normal working hours. You will also be required to work some days during the school holidays. Your actual salary will be £21,380.85 per annum, and this is paid in 12 equal instalments over the year so even when it is the summer holidays, you continue to receive the same payment that month. You will work as a part of our friendly and dedicated corporate services team to provide a reception service and practical administration service to support the communications and functions of the school.This will include dealing with a range of enquiries through telephone and email including: Microsoft office and bespoke software systems, e.g. SIMS. In addition, to provide administration services including: reprographics, arranging travel, room bookings, and to support school events.

What are we looking for?
We are looking for an individual who has
• Excellent organisational skills
• A good eye for detail as well as
• A good standard of education including literacy and numeracy at GCSE grade C/4 or equivalent,
• Excellent ICT skills
• Experience of working in a busy office environment in an administrative role
