Job Description
As a Children and Young People Caseworker, you’ll play a vital role in supporting young victims of crime. You’ll build trusted relationships and offer practical, tailored interventions, including activities and awareness sessions in schools and community settings. Working closely with other agencies, you’ll ensure robust referral pathways and provide critical support to young people, helping them understand their rights, navigate the criminal justice system, and regain control of their lives.
Key Responsibilities
* Build and manage a caseload of young people affected by crime, assessing individual needs and risks.
* Facilitate awareness-raising sessions in community settings on topics like crime prevention and restorative justice.
* Engage young victims in service design and feedback processes to shape impactful support programs.
Qualifications
* Experience working with vulnerable young people and delivering youth engagement.
* Knowledge of safeguarding issues, and ability to work inter-agency.
* Strong communication and empathy skills, with an adaptable, solution-focused approach.

Contract: Permanent
Hours & work pattern: Full time, 37.5 hours per week.
Salary: £28,300
Location: Based from one of our Community hubs in London with frequent travel across London.
Screening: Successful admission to post subject to enhanced DBS check, and employer Right To Work in the UK check. The post-holder must have right to work in the UK.
