The Corporate and Professional Services departments are the cornerstone of the University. They each provide essential and valuable support to both each other and the Academic departments, helping the University to function in the most efficient and productive way, ensuring that the students’ experience is second to none. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Deputy Head of Academic Services (Operations) to join our team and lead the delivery of high-quality registry services that enhance the student experience. The core purpose of this front-line role is to collaborate with stakeholders across the University to deliver seamless, efficient services that support students throughout their academic journey. Leading a small team of professionals, you will be responsible for key operational areas, including: Student registration and enrolment Examinations and timetabling Maintenance of student academic records Production of transcripts and certificates This role involves significant line management responsibilities, requiring strong leadership to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and a commitment to continuous service improvement. The successful applicant will have a proven background in delivering at least one key area of the Operations Team’s services. Be a confident and proactive leader with excellent communication and reporting skills. Demonstrate a strong commitment to teamwork, customer service, and staff development. Possess the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
